Who we are

Tiny Tots launched in September 2015 by dance teachers, good friends
and now fellow Principals Amy Hutchison and Kelly Tyte.

We are an independent Dance, Yoga and Activ! class programme, with original work written and choreographed by us.  Having taught together in a more 'formal' dance school setting, Amy & Kelly decided they wanted to bridge the gap between parent and toddler classes and a more 'formal' dance class setting.

Our dance classes have really taken off and more recently, we have added Yoga and Activ! classes to our repertoire too!  We are not a franchise, we are independently owned and live, breathe and love what we do.

Our classes are fun, energetic and offer a structured programme, which over time helps your child feel familiar in the space and helps their confidence grow.

Our teachers are qualified, DBS checked, first aid trained and have a wealth of experience teaching this young age group.

Most of all, they LOVE teaching toddlers and pre-schoolers!

"We hope you and your Tiny Tots will enjoy our classes as much as we love creating them"

Miss Kelly

Hi, I'm Miss Kelly and so proud to introduce to you our independent, fun and engaging dance programme written

and choreographed by us!

Like many, I started dancing at the age of 3, tried many styles of dance, ballet, tap, modern, rock'n roll, disco and then later street dance.  At the age of 18, I worked as a lead singer and dancer for an entertainment company in the West Country.  Then at the age of 21, I set up my own Dancewear business  which I then sold  when I was expecting my first child.

Alongside running my retail business, I took my IDTA Teaching qualification with a local RAD and IDTA Dance School.  When my daughter was just over a year old, I decided to give up teaching evenings and weekends and worked as an assistant in Pre-Schools and Nurseries until Amy and I decided to write, choreograph and launch Tiny Tots Dance in September 2015.

We hope you love our classes as much as we do writing and teaching them and look forward to welcoming you

to one of our Tiny Tots Dance classes, very soon!

Best wishes, Kelly x

Miss Amy

Hi. I'm Miss Amy and I am thrilled to introduce you to
our Tiny Tots Dance Programme!

I have a First class degree in Dance and Professional Practice and a Masters in Community Dance and Leadership along with a teaching qualification with the IDTA. I then went onto to become a Widening Participation and Access Assistant at a Central School of Ballet, London.  Alongside teaching and running the Bedfordshire Branch of Tiny Tots Dance, I also. work in a local Primary School as a class teacher.

Witnessing the achievements of the young dancers in class is incredibly rewarding and I am always astounded by their development, enthusiasm and creativity at such a young age. Kelly and I are very proud to of created a programme of work that is really accessible and inclusive to all children.

I am passionate about young people having the opportunity to dance in a fun and engaging environment and I can't wait to welcome you to class!

Best wishes, Amy x

Miss Steph

Hi, I'm Miss Steph!

From a very young age I have always danced; ballet, tap, jazz and street dance, until my studies for primary teaching took over! I am a BA Hons Qualified Primary Teacher and have been teaching from foundation stage to Year 6 for ten years.

Since the birth of my daughters in 2014 and 2016, my priorities have changed. Becoming a Tiny Tots teacher has worked perfectly for me, allowing me to combine my 3 passions- children,

dancing and teaching.

For me, it is a pleasure to watch the children develop week by week. Their increasing confidence, independence and physical abilities never fails to amaze me!

Even at their young age, the children are forming friendships with the other children and relationships with the other parents. As a parent, the Tiny Tots experience is an invaluable part of my children's social development. As a teacher, it is giving me the enjoyment of working with these amazing young minds

and helping them grow.

Best wishes,

Miss Steph x

Miss Kylee

Hello, I'm Miss Kylee

It all started at five years old when I went to my first ballet class and absolutely loved it. Dance then became my passion. I progressed into different styles including Tap, Modern, Jazz, Spanish, Contemporary, Musical Theatre and of course Ballet. I was always dancing. At eleven I gained a place at Elmhurst Ballet School which I attended until July 2004.

At 18 I decided to change paths and in 2008 I became a BA Hons Qualified Primary Teacher. I then taught in Early Years for 6 years until I had my daughter in 2014. My little boy came along in 2017 and he completed our family.

Naturally with my background I wanted my little girl to dance so in August 2016 she started at Tiny Tots and she loves the sessions. We both look forward to classes each week.  I feel very lucky to be a part of such an awesome team. It allows me to combine both my passion for dance and experience of working with early years children.

I love inspiring children by sharing my enthusiasm for dance. Dance is much more than a physical activity. It enhances so many important life skills and it’s lovely to see the children learning these within a fun and friendly environment.  Let’s dance and have fun!!!

Best wishes,
Miss Kylee x

Miss Becky

Hi, I'm Miss Becky!

As an experienced primary school teacher who has spent her whole life dancing, I was thrilled to be invited to join the team at Tiny Tots. I love styles ranging from ballet to ballroom and have even had a go at acrobatic rock ‘n’ roll! I also enjoy music and yoga, which I was lucky enough to study in India.

I am looking forward to sharing these passions with both my pupils and my new baby daughter, who you will be able to meet at my classes.

Best wishes,

Miss Becky x

Miss Tasha

Hi, I'm Miss Tasha,

I have been dancing since the age of three, to further my education in dance I left home at 16 travelling to Scotland where I attended Ballet West, a full time ballet school.

During this time I completed a degree, three Scottish tours plus many more performances. I then went on to do a Christmas pantomime as a dancer and then spent last year

dancing in a hotel in Cyprus.

I have now decided I want to help make children experience how I felt years ago which is why I am so excited to be working with Tiny Tots Dance creating, dancing and having fun encouraging children to fall in love with dance.

Best wishes,

Miss Tasha x

Miss Megan

Hi, I’m Miss Megan

My love for dancing began at a very young age, starting at my first ever ballet lessons. Since then, I haven’t stopped dancing, quickly progressing into more dance styles including; Jazz, Modern, Contemporary, Bollywood, Salsa and Musical Theatre.

I continued my passion at the University of Chichester, receiving a BA (Hons) Dance Degree. I am currently working towards my DDE Teaching Qualification in Modern and Ballet as well as teaching my own Fitness and Ballet classes for adults.

My desire to teach started when I toured as part of a dance company to a school in Malta. It was a pleasure to watch the children grow in physical ability as well as, most importantly, their confidence; this was when I realised I wanted to be part of children’s early learning development and Tiny Tots Dance is the perfect way to do this. I am so excited to join the team of Tiny Tots Dance and look forward to meeting you all and of course your little ones.

Best wishes

Miss Becca

Hi,  I’m Miss Becca.

A little about me... I am a personal trainer, nutritional therapist, yoga and pilates instructor. I have been officially dancing from 3 years old, but I had the advantage that my mum owned a dance school so was dancing from the moment I could walk: ballet, tap, jazz, street, contemporary. I continued dancing throughout university and then started up voluntary dance classes for middle school children as an after school club when I came home.

I had my little girls in 2014 and 2016 and we have attended Tiny Tots since my eldest was 22 months. Seeing how they develop and follow instruction when they seem so little is just incredible. It has been such a pleasure to go to the classes with my girls and it has definitely taught me to never underestimate just what children can do! The classes are well structured, fun and inspiring. They teach so much more than just dance and I feel that my girls have learnt so much about socialisation, turn taking and basic life skills.

I feel very privileged to now be joining the Tiny Tots team. I really look forward to meeting you and your little ones and to hopefully pass on some of the passion I have for dance while allowing you to have a very special moment with your little one seeing them develop into a little person.

Best wishes,
Bec x
